Complete Tutorial to Falsh a Nokia Phone

Had a Nokia phone ?????? Facing problems with its software.Don't worry here is a simple and complete tutorial to flash your Nokia phone using JAF

To flash a Nokia phone just you need
1.NAVIFRIM.exe - To download original software
2.JAFSetup_1.98.62.exe - A software used to flash Nokia phone
3.OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe - To start JAF
4.NOKIA PC SUIT - To install cable drivers and update drivers in your phone
5.JAF_ NOKI4MODELS.INI
6.DOTNETFX.EXE - To install 3rd party applications

I UPLOADED EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO MEDIA FIRE AND YOU CAN DOWNLOAD ZIP FILE

STEP-1
Extract the zip file to desktop and install JAF and Nokia Pc suit

STEP-2
Now Create a path C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-XXX
( XXX is the RM of your phone.you can know your RM by just dailling *#0000# in normal dialler (or) under your phones battery )Now i am flashing NOKIA 5230 RM-588 so, I created
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-588

                                         

STEP-3
Now open Navifrim and wait untill data loads and search for your phones model in products menu
including RM and now go to Releases menu and click the version you want to flash your phone
DON'T SELECT LOWER VERSION.FLASHING YOUR PHONE WITH LOWER VERSION WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE.YOU CAN SELECT HIGHER VERSIONS
you can know your current vesion by just dailling *#0000# in normal dialler
Select your country varient in varients tab and download all files to
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-XXX          ( XXX is the RM of your phone)

STEP-4
Now replace the file jaf_nok4models.ini in C:\Program Files\ODEON\JAF

STEP-5
Switch of your phone and connect to pc via USB
 ( If you are connecting your phone to that computer for first time,cable drivers for your phone should be installed OR simply connect your computer in pc suite mode and open Nokia PC suite it will update pc suite support for your  phone ) 


STEP-6
Open OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe
and tick Random PKEY Raskal SN and JAF (main) and click GO and wait for few seconds and error will popups saying “BOX DRIVER NOT INSTALLED” , ignore it and click ok, JAF will startup automatically
( if you are using windows 7 open OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe as windows xp sp2)

STEP-7
When JAF startups go to BBS tab and tick Manual Flash , Normal flash , Dead USB and untick
 CRT 308 Now click  use ini and wait for few seconds,Nokia phone models will open in new window and select your phone ( RM is also important )

STEP-8
If you had done every thing correct MUC PPM CNT APE Variant will glow green and click FLASH and a warning popups and click YES

STEP-9
Flashing process will starts and you will notice a message "PRESS POWER ON NOW"
now press your phones switch on button for 1 sec and wait for few minutes and process will complete displaying a message DONE

STEP-10
Your phone will starts automatically if not remove phones battery and replace it again and switch on your phone
PRESTO !!!!! Your phone with new software is ready to use

PRECAUTIONS:
* Don't flash your phone with lower versions
* Don't disconnect your phone untill the completion of process
